By combining imagery with natural shapes through steel, silver and photographic imagery, Christy Gray is exploring new territory and the results are striking. Gray spends a lot of time on the lake and rivers as a stand up paddle boarder. She documents the water, the horizon and the movement. The photographs serve as a launch point for imagery - reflecting on leaves, botanical materials and the shapes that they take and create.
